Benitses is located in the east coast of Corfu, only 12km away from the city center and 9 km away from the "Ioannis Kapodistrias" international airport. It is one of the oldest traditional villages of Corfu, a popular travel destination for greek and foreign visitors. It was the first travel resort of Corfu, the place where tourism begun and was later expanded to the rest of the island.

Η κέρκυρα δεν είναι το νησί που μπορείς να ανακαλύψεις μέσα σε λίγες ώρες. Η παλιά πόλη, η μεγάλη ακτογραμμή που σχηματίζει πανέμορφες παραλίες, το λοφώδες καταπράσινο τοπίο προσκαλούν τον ταξιδιώτη να επιστρέψει και να γνωρίσει καλύτερα το μαγικό αυτό μέρος.Η Πόλη της Κέρκυρας,η πρωτεύουσα αποτελείται από την Παλιά πόλη,μία παγκόσμια κληρονομιά της UNESCO.Στενά σοκάκια,τα καντούνια,ψηλά κτήρια με κεραμίδιαπαλιές εκκλησίες με περίτεχνα καμπαναριά και αγιογραφίες αλλά και αρκετά μουσεία. Το Καμπιέλο είναι η παλαιότερη συνοικία με την χαρακτηριστική εικόνα τις μπουγάδες απλωμένες από το ένα σπίτι στο άλλο. Η παλιά πόλη οριοθετείται από τα δύο φρούρια.Το παλιό και το νέο φρούριο. Η βόλτα στην παλιά πόλη ξεκινάει από την μεγαλύτερη πλατεία των Βαλκανίων την Σπιανάδα.Στην μία γωνία βρίσκεται το παλιό φρούριο μετά ένα πανέμορφο αλσύλλιο το Μποσκέτο και τα Ανάκτορα. Το 1928 ιδρύθηκε το μουσείο Ασιατικής τέχνης με περίπου 15,000 αντικείμενα ασιατικής τέχνης. Το πιο παλιό κτήριο είναι το Δημαρχείο όπου το μπαλκόνι είναι ίδιο με έκεινο της Ιουλιετας. Η καθολική μητρόπολη του Σαν Τζάκομο είναι από τα ομορφότερα αρχιτεκτονικά δημιουργήματα στα καντούνια της Κερκυρας. Στο παλιό κτήριο της Ιονικής στεγάζεται το Μουσείο Χαρτονομισμάτων. Στην πλατεία του κτηρίου βρίσκονται δύο από τις πιό παλιές εκκλησίες , ο Αγιος Ιωάννης και η Παναγία των ξένων. Προχωρώντας στα καντούνια συναντάμε την εκκλησία του Αγιου Σπυρίδωνα πολιούχου της Κέρκυρας.Δύο ακόμα εκκλησίες είναι η Αντιβουνιώτισσα και η μητρόπολη της Κέρκυρας.

Shell Museum

The shell Museum includes one of the biggest collections of shell and other sea species in Europe. The museum belongs to the diver Napoleon Sagias, who was an immigrant from Australia and traveled from 1970 and for 20 years with his team to the Indian and Pacific Ocean, collecting shells
